Gertjan Vlug - CEO & President

Gertjan Vlug is a born entrepreneur who started his 3rd BI software selling company with BIReady. Before he has been working in the BI area since the late 1980s for BI-toll vendors like Cognos (now IBM - as an international Manager), Business Objects (now SAP - building up the Dutch organization) in Services, Commercial and Management roles.

This expertise and his entrepreneurship made it a natural next step to set up his own business.

His first company was a total-solution organization, reselling best-of-breed tools (mainly well respected BI-tools) together with excellent consultancy, based on best practices.
He also started regional business for companies with promising new BI-products.

Already in the 90's Gertjan started to discuss the lack of generic data warehouse products, where this should bring such a tremendous advantages for organizations in getting the right management information in time, and finally being capable of adopting business requirements in a flexible and accurate way.

Jacob Willemsen - Business Manager US

Jacob Willemsen holds an MS in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. After graduation, Jacob moved to New York where he worked as a commercial officer to the United Nations and deputy head of the economic section at the Consulate General of the Netherlands. In 2002, Willemsen founded his own company New Amsterdam Trade & Consultancy, LLC which focuses on a variety of areas, including advising and representing European companies and governments in their efforts to become involved in the UN procurement market.Over the years New Amsterdam has grown into a diverse management consultancy working with companies that have an interest in becoming part of the U.S. market. Willemsen, is also the founder of the European Procurement Forum, Inc. a non-profit initiative for European Commercial Representatives at the UN. Additionally, Jacob founded NAFBiz New York, a platform for the exchange of international business management information among the Dutch professional community.

Jacob has recently co launched TABS, Trans Atlantic Business Services, an incubator and facilitator for European companies that want to enter the United States. TABS offers their members the necessary information and a pre-screened network of service providers, that have extensive experience with the rigors of Trans Atlantic business expansion and entry.

Jan Vos - CTO

Jan Vos has Ph. D. in physical biology and has been active as a scientist in the field of sensory physiology. In this period he has acquired a great experience with scientific programming, especially in relation to digital signal processing.

Later, Jan started working for Atos Origin, where he has been working on implementing Data Warehouse systems. Currently, Jan is responsible for the BIReady Software Development.

Marco Wobben - Product Development Manager

Marco Wobben has more than 20 years of experience in software development. Marco has been working on the product development of the BIReady Engine since day one.

Being responsible for the entire cycle, from design to implementation, his knowledge is invaluable. It shows in the great product the BIReady Engine has become.

Steve Aspris - Managing Director BIReady Ltd (UK)

Steve is an experienced consultant, project manager and strategist in the Data Management space with specialisation in Master Data Management, Data Governance and Data Warehousing. With 22 years in the software technology industry and 15 years heading up his own consultancy business, Steve brings real-world implementation experience to BIReady and knows first-hand the pain of building Data Warehouses by hand.

Chris Miller - Sales Manager US West Coast

Strategic business professional with extensive experience in new product development and global commercialization of innovative, high technology and scientific products and services. I started my career as a soldier crawling in the dirt with my M16 and working with the best and brightest USAF minds solving problems with F-16 computers and electronics. I am now a business mercenary developing strategies and laying carefully planned and calculated tactics designed to increase market-share and profitability.

Mario Sabbini - Managing Director BIReady Italy

Mario brings more than 20 years of experience in the Business Intelligence space. Before joining BIReady he covered many roles in NCR, most in the Professional Services Practice and has played a key role in the growth of Teradata in Italy.He managed the Teradata Professional Services Practices achieving significant business goals before joining the Sales Organization.

Since January 2009 Mario has chosen to follow his entrepreneur instinct and had several businesses established and/or helped to get started.

Scouting for for new ideas that could brings a jump-forward to the Datawarehouse & BI approach Mario discovered, early this year, BIReady. He immediately realized that there is a lot of room for a tool that, really, could act as a booster for big organization looking for any idea that could helps them to cut cost and dramatically accelerate the implementation as well. But the same approach could allows small & medium-size firms to implement a real datawarehouse without waiting years for results and investing lot of money as well.

Mario's mission is now to "evangelize" to Italian market making BIReady a leading datawarehouse technology and approach.

Mario serves as the managing director of BIReady Italy.

Jonathan Medows - Financial & Fiscal Advisor

Jonathan Medows is the Managing Member of MEDOWS CPA. He received his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude in economics and accounting and his MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University. Jonathan also received a Master of Arts in Judaic Studies and was ordained as a Rabbi by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland. He has worked as a staff accountant for Arthur Andersen and as a Senior Consultant in the Restructuring Group of KPMG. Mr. Medows has been featured as an expert CPA in The New York Post, BusinessWeek, WebCPA and other publications. For the past seven years, Jonathan has been engaged in private practice.
